Los Angeles witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans worldwide united with local residents in jubilation, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local celebrations featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy high.
“I’m already thinking about the next championship we’re going to achieve this,” the star player stated through an interpreter.
The parade route ended at Dodger Stadium, where the team emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the stadium’s outfield.

Celebrations began prior to the procession, with supporters lighting flares in the roads of the city center on Sunday night.

“It seems it’s almost double from last year,” Freeman remarked. “The supporters are incredible. It’s truly amazing to be a part of this.”
